Coolgardie is 558 kilometers east of Perth (Capital of Western Australia). The Post Office was opened in 1895. This Pillar box made during the reign of Queen Victoria is near the Coolgardie post office. A friend of mine took these photos and I am unable to read the maker of the post box in Figure 3. Today Coolgardie has a population of approx 6,100 Photos taken November 2005 |
