MATERIALS NEEDED FOR WASHING STAMPS OFF ENVELOPES - Part 1

   By Liz Nakhla

Everyone has there own way of washing stamps off envelopes , this is mine.

I have been washing stamps off this way for many years and I find it works well. Some people call it soaking stamps off and others washing stamps off, they mean the same thing.

In this first slide show I will show you the materials I use. These are only a guide if you have similar materials then use what you have. You do not have to go to great expense. The cost of the materials (excluding stamps) that I use comes to about $5 Australian dollars, they have lasted me for more than seven years.

I never use tweezers when washing stamps off. I believe you could damage a wet stamp with tweezers.
