I was on my way to pick up Robin Occleshaw, co-author of The Official Postal Labels of Australia Australian who was staying with me during Pacific Explorer. I was early, and not wanting to waste time in the airport parking station, pulled over to the side of the road on the way (in Alexandria). On the footpath was a cardboard box full of (used) wine bottles on which was a purple label, like the one shown below. The whole carton was “rescued”, the bottles recycled in the garbage at home and Robin got a new label which had not been recorded before! A supplement is due shortly, to be published by the Cinderella Stamp Club of Australasia.

Moral of the story: keep your eyes peeled!
